There is an experimental helmet scientists had developed and say it could reverse the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease for just a couple of weeks of being used. Participants are trying it out as of now.
this weird looking helmet which is strikingly similar to the Nick Moranis wore in the movie “Honey I shrunk the kids”. Altough this in no laughing matter its creators believe it could reverse the symptoms of dementia – such as memory loss and anxiety after only 4 weeks which has to be worn for ten minutes every day bathes the brain with infra-red light and stimulates
the growth of brain cells, sounds interesting.

Alzheimer’s disease charities last night described the treatment as “potentially
life- changing” – but stressed that the research was still at the very early
stages. Around 700,000 Britons have dementia, with around 500,000 suffering from
Alzheimer’s disease.
The helmet is the creation of Dr Gordon Dougal, a
director of Virulite, a medical research company based in County Durham. It
follows a study at the University of Sunderland which found infra-red light can
reverse memory loss in mice.

Ledger’s Death Ruled Accidental

Such a sad thing. But may others beware don’t mix alcohol with prescription drugs. Hopefully he went to heaven, I don’t know what his faith in Jesus Christ was. Keith Ledger was a funny actor, he’ll be missed by many of his fans.

Heath Ledger’s death has been ruled an accident, resulting from the abuse of
prescription medications, the New York City Medical Examiner’s office said.
The cause of the Australian actor’s Jan. 22 death in Manhattan was announced
Wednesday.

Firefighters Cut Boy Out of a Washing Machine

Wow! Watch your little ones. Praise God that the boy was able to get out.

DOVER, Ohio (AP) — Talk about an oversize load: A 4-year-old boygot stuck when
he climbed into his family’s top-loading washingmachine, and firefighters had to
use a metal cutter to slice intothe appliance to get him out.

Having to plan for vacation for this year/or next can be so stressfull, We have been planning a stress free vacation for a couple of years now.
lately I have been thinking and dreaming of vacation to Spain which is one of my dream vacation destination, besides Hawaii and Philippine Islands. Spain is where you can relax and unwind, although I never been there, I would like to go there someday. As I was doing online search about Spain I have found that Northeastern Catalonia Spain is well known for its rocky cliffs and a mix of pebble beaches and sandy beaches. According to travel experts Costa Brava is the best place to be if you’re looking for beaches and Hotel/Resorts, with a scenic and rugged coastline.
The coastal zone of the Costa Brava begins 4kms North of Barcelona and extends to the French border, Its about 37 miles/60km France.
I also want to visit Costa Del sol its East of Malaga, is on the Mediterranean sea, and while I’m there why not visit Benidorm, in Summer, Benidorm is one big party I heard, with more the 1000 Restaurants and over 30 Discos what else can you ask for? You can find Benidorm in the province of Alicante, Spain.

I pretty sure it’s easy to find Hotels in Benidorm
because Alicante province is full of life, you can find busy Shops, Bars and Restaurants.

And, why would I forget the Capital of Spain, Barcelona.

Las Ramblas in Barcelona is about a mile long with Port Vell (near the cruise port terminal) at the Southern most end and Placa Catalunya at the northern most end.

With all this great hot spots in Spain, I’m pretty sure I’ll get my fill.

Now, I used to worry about booking Hotels and such due to high prices and untrusted websites. I’ve found cheaperthanhotels.co.uk it’s a great travel websites if you’re planning a trip to EU.

So recap, Costa Brava , Benidorm , Alicante and Barcelona Las Ramblas are my ultimate vacation destinations, someone says it can revive the senses with the Spanish flair.

of dietary and genetic changes, brings scientists closer to controlling the
survival and health of the unit of all living systems: the cell. “We’re setting
the foundation for reprogramming healthy life,” says study leader Valter Longo
of the University of Southern California.Longo’s group put baker’s yeast on a
calorie-restricted diet and knocked out two genes – RAS2 and SCH9 – that promote
aging in yeast and cancer in humans.”We got a 10-fold life span extension that
is, I think, the longest one that has ever been achieved in any organism,” Longo
says. Normal yeast organisms live about a week.
